Police pursuit resulting in the death of Paige Timothy

On 20 March 2008, a stolen car driven by Michael Raymond Norton crashed in Christchurch following a Police pursuit. Paige Patricia Timothy, a front seat passenger aged 16, died later from injuries sustained in the crash. The Authority conducted an independent investigation.
